The best way to get to Muang Long is throughLuang Namtha in the north west of Laos. Buses run every day from Huay Xai, Oudomxay, Luang Prabang and Vientianeevery day. It is also posible to travel by boat run from Luang Prabang to Huay Xai and then from Huay Xai to Muang Long.
